HOW DO YOU HANDLE ELDERLY PETS?

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GROOM MY DOG?

At Ally's Mobile Grooming, we take pride in creating a calm environment for all of the pets that we groom.  This, of course depends on your pet's cooperation and condition of the coat.  Grooming pets generally takes about two hours.

DO YOU GROOM CATS?

Yes we do. The cat package includes bath, nails, brush-out, and trim should they be matted.

CAN I OBSERVE MY PET BEING GROOMED?

Due to insurance, liability, and biosecurity reasons, we cannot allow visitors in our mobile unit.  Please be aware the unit is sanitized before and after each groom to ensure the health and safety of your pet and others.

WILL YOU USE COLOGNE?

I will not.  The organic shampoo and conditioner used will leave your pet clean.  Cologne, though a longer lasting "scent", is a temporary fix to natural dog odor.  It's important to note that any chemicals penetrating the skin can cause the liver to work overtime to rid the body of the toxins.  It just isn't healthy for your pet.

CAN YOU DESKUNK MY PET?

Due to the small space of the mobile unit and necessary ventilation, we currently do not offer a skunk bath. Some stationary grooming salons will offer this service.

For starters, the communication here is critical.  I need to know if there is any sort of injury, weakness, or sensitive area(s).  I will strive to balance the value of your time with their needs.  It really depends on them but they will not be rushed.  There may be times when they just need a short break, and that's okay.  I have rubberized ramps to make things easy and slip free, for unit entry, tub, and grooming table.  I also have pet cushions to help them stand if they are tired of standing on their own.  Additionally, if necessary, I have comfortable slings to help hold them up to do their nails and give their muscles a break.  I gently talk them through it while aiming to get them back into the comfort of their home as soon as possible.
